Scott Lampert
For over two decades, Scott Lampert has shod top-level Hunter/Jumpers, National Arabians Champions and World Champion Cutters. A graduate of the Kentucky Horseshoeing School, Scott uses a practical approach when shoeing performance horses. Shoeing horses worldwide, Scott gained a passion to studying the effects of shoeing and the benefits toward improving soundness. This dedication was the driving force for Scott to develop the ONTRACKEQUINE software. Using the slow motion feature of the videos and the detailed documentation of pictures, Scott developed a clear way to identify and illustrate common hoof distortion.
A professional farrier, developing the ONTRACKEQUINE software and investing in a High Speed video camera has involved Scott in several industry related research and manufacturing projects from footing to shoes. The time spent doing practical research has provided a sensible understanding of feet and how they function in real life environments. Scott has collected one of the largest libraries of standard and high speed videos of feet and the effects of ground surface. Most recently, he has worked with the committees for the American Jockey club to obtain detailed data with regards to synthetic footing. This incredible information, along with Scott’s experience, research and practical approach to horseshoeing provides him the opportunity to enjoy his other passion; teaching and lecturing. Awarded the “Outstanding Speaker” at the 2007 International Hoof Care Summit, Scott continues doing clinics and lecturing as well as assisting in the Lameness/Podiatry course at the University of Minnesota. Having written or contributed on several published articles, Scott continues to collect, study and research practical applications and their effects on horseshoeing and lameness.
It is with immense dedication, Scott is able to maintain balance between his passion for horseshoeing, research, developing the ONTRACKEQUINE software and most important; his family.

Mitch continues to pursue his interest in equine research by continually investigating equine biomechanics and how that is affected through various shoeing modalities.
Currently, Mitch is the director of the Kentucky Horseshoeing School in Richmond, KY, and received the AFA’s “Educator of The Year” award for 2007. Among his many successful students Mitch is proud to count 4 members of the AFA US National Horseshoeing Team as well as students who have earned positions with various US equine teams, leading veterinary hospitals, university veterinary schools and have even shod Kentucky Derby winners.
